The economic initiative of the Baltimore Music Conference seeks to promote the musician and local venues. In addition, the inclusion of a juried art show, neighborhood & community organizations, and local vendors also gives the local businesses, the local artist, and the local communities an opportunity to grow.

To highlight and promote the talent of Baltimore musicians and DJ’s. To provide education for those looking to fine tune their skills, those looking to obtain the knowledge to promote themselves and prosper as a musician or DJ, and those looking to become affiliated with record companies. To educate the general public to the presence of this talent. To educate the population outside of Baltimore to the true charm of Charm City.
WHY?
The plethora of talent in this city is amazing, yet virtually unknown. Musicians and DJ’s alike struggle to be heard, not only by the citizens of this great city, but by people world wide. Not having the resources to get signed to a major record label, they sadly remain true to their love of the music, but falsely to their hope of being discovered. We want to remove that false hope and make that happen for them.
